Nacho Cheese

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 16 oz can refried beans
  • 16 oz can chili (no beans)
  • 1 lb. shredded cheese
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • Jalapeno peppers (for hotter dip)

In a skillet brown ground beef. Drain. Add ground beef and other ingredients to a crock-pot. Cook on high around an hour.


Super Chocolate Cake

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Blend cake mix and next five ingredients on low speed for one minute, then med speed for two minutes. Add chocolate chips and mix. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes. Allow about 12 minutes to cool and remove from pan. Frost with chocolate frosting.


Traditional Fudge

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 14 1/2 can evaporated milk
  • 13 oz bar of grated sweet chocolate
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups sugar
  • (2) 12 oz packages chocolate chips
  • 2 cups nuts (optional)

Combine butter, sugar and milk. Boil 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat-add remaining ingredients except nuts. Beat until mixed well then add nuts. Pour into greased 9x13 pan and let cool. Yeilds around 5 lbs.


Broccoli Soup

  • 2-10 oz packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 soup cans full of milk
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp crushed dried tarragon
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine

Cook broccoli, drain. Add soup, milk, wine, butter, tarragon and pepper. Heat-do not allow to boil.
